How far in advance should I book?
For weddings and larger commercial projects, 6–12 months ahead is ideal — especially if you're planning an autumn shoot, which tends to book up fastest. For portrait sessions, 4–6 weeks is usually plenty, though it's always worth reaching out early to check availability.
Do you travel outside of Virginia?
Yes — while most work is rooted in the Roanoke Valley and Blue Ridge, Lewis is available to travel further afield for the right project. Travel costs for shoots outside of Virginia are discussed at enquiry stage.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
Lewis will get back to you within 24 hours to find out a little more about your shoot. If it feels like a good fit, he'll put together a proposal with pricing and next steps. There's no pressure — just a conversation first.
What's your editing style?
Images are edited to feel true to the moment — natural skin tones, honest colour, and nothing over-processed. Lewis delivers a consistent, film-influenced look across every gallery, without heavy filters or dramatic retouching. What you see in the portfolio is what you can expect from your shoot.
